Okay, so my name is Dominique. Simple enough. The nickname "domyneek" was given to me many years ago, by my friend Rachel. I've been using it for everything ever since then.

But exactly what kind of person am I? Well, I'm a mystery, even to myself sometimes. I stay in the shadows and watch people. I've never been one to talk very much, but I'm always observing/listening. So, having a livejournal with friends is a good way for me to keep up with what everyone else is doing, even if I never comment on it. I think that’s the first step to gossiping, but don’t worry, I never take it that far.

Oh Lordy No! That's not all there is to me. I can be a fun person, too! I think I can brighten up the mood when I step into a crowd. I'm spontaneous and hyper, so if nothing else, I'm the sober (keyword) idiot who dances around imitating rap stars. Just a little side note; I'm mixed, but I'm bit further over on the white side. Yes, I say "Oh my god" and "like" frequently in my average conversations. It's mentally bound to me. So deal with it! :)

Then I have my worst trait; my depression. I guess, it’s not really at trait, but it really does affect my mood. I’m not talking about “my life sucks” syndrome, but actual clinical depression. Believe me, there’s a difference. I don’t want to get into the details of my struggle, but just to warn you that there is one, so forgive me if I tend to withdraw from time to time.
